Timex Color Flicks Watches
Designed by David Pakter of Pakter/Krauss in 1977, Timex Color Flicks watches introduced something new into their catalog. Each Color Flicks watch pairs brightly coloured dials with a mystery dial element. This was something Timex continued to experiment with through to modern times with the 2020 re-issue of the Color Flicks watch by Todd Snyder. The re-issue watch rebranded as the Art of Pride watch.
By appllying pigment to a transparent disc and rotating this disc on top of a segmented dial background, David Pakter was able to dramatically change the colours being displayed on Color Flicks watches.
