1977 was a great year for vintage Timex watches. I call this the year of collaboration as it seemed Timex went big on finding other brands to partner with and produce colaborative watch designs. From the popular Pakter Krauss Color Flicks with their brightly coloured mystery dials to Hannah Barbera and their Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Hong Kong Phooey and Yogi Bear watches, Asterix and more.

Other popular pieces produced this year include the black dialled railroad Viscount, and Easy Reader collection.
