Timex Elapsed Time Dive Bezel

Theres something weird about Timex elapsed time bezels. Most elapsed time dive bezels like the one featured on the submariner have an arrow at the top and count down clock-wise to the right. For some reason most Timex elapsed time bezels count down counter-clockwise. This is a very strange phenomena. Elapsed time dive bezels were used across the Skin Diver, Marlin, Sprite and Petite ranges of watches and can be found in colours ranging from blue and green to black. They are all friction fit, made from plastic and in some cases painted. Markings may be indented or surface painted.
