vintage timex watch crystals

Welcome to the vintage Timex watch crystal database. This is a digitised copy of the Regular Crystal Material System Identification chart 980 TX2L from 1979 so should cover a majority of vintage watches pre-dating that.

My hope is that you can use this database to find donor watches with crystals you can use to replace that on another model.

Fun Facts:

The letter A at the end of a dial code means the watch was made in the 2nd half of the year.

In 1974 Timex started adding a 0 before the movement number. I suspect this was in preparation for the m1xx movements which appeared later that decade.
