Watches labelled as Timex 65 Marlin were believe it or not, produced in 1965 as the name would suggest. Surprisingly the 65 Marlin name continued until 1968 due presumably to the popularity of the pieces in this collection.

Timex 65 Marlin watches al featured the same mix of elongated numerals and stick markers more recently made popular by the 2018 Timex Marlin reissue however the configuration of these numbers included:

Alternating arabic and stick markers, arabic markers at 12 3 6 & 9 with stick markers inbetween and arabic markers at 12 and 6 with stick markers making up the remainder of the dial.

All watches in the 65 Marlin range had the manual wind in-house M24 movement.
