1976 Timex Watches

Wondering why i have so many vintage Timex watches from 1976? It’s because that’s my birth year. I decided to collect the 1976 versions of popular models even when earlier examples existed. I’m only missing a 1976 Timex petite Peanuts Lucy, which is hard to find as no dial code is visible without dissassembly. Also any electric/electronics which have only recently become a focus.

Needless to say 1976 was the best year for vintage Timex watches 😀

With this special focus i have found considerably more 1976 Timex than can be found in catalogs, brochures and ads. This is likely because the collecting communiy does not hae a complete set of catalogs for every country to cover all of the regional variation that was produced.
