1961 Timex Watches

Timex watches made in 1961 saw the end of an era with the last of the Monroe models being made this year. In the UK, some sportster models were rebranded as “boys series” watches, Timex launched their first in-house jeweled Movement, the M72. This evolution also saw movements being decorated for the first time.
