References for this men’s Timex Sportster watch can only be found in an advertisement from 1957. Unlike future sporster models which were ladies/kids watches, this is a man’s watch with an attractive bullseye dial.

This Timex Sportster watch is different from others carrying the model name in that its a large men’s watch and not a mid or small sized ladies watch.

The dial is beautiful and typical of watches from this age. There is a deep sunburst outer ring adorned with both Arabic and pointed markers. The center is dark and stamped with circular grooves. This area contains a seconds track and the brand name Timex and WATERPROOF.
