1950s Timex Watches
In the 1950’s Timex officially found its footing. Large advertising campaigns showcasing the durability of Timex watches could be found throughout this decade along with colaborations with popular sports personalities.
1950’s Timex watches evolved to use the M22 manual wind movement with some models starting to feature a sweeping second hand. Later calibers such as the M29 automatic movement were launched in 1959.
This is arguably my favourite era of Timex.
